Description
Part-time, temporary position in state and locally funded Primary Care Clinic in the Riley County Health Department, Manhattan, KS. Anticipate 6-8 weeks beginning late March. Provide advanced practice nursing care and referral services relating to primary health care to persons eligible for the primary care clinic. Clinic designed to serve uninsured, low income, and Medicaid clients of Riley County. Position requires both teamwork and autonomy. Resources include off-site physician medical director, another part time PC ARNP, clinic supervisor, nursing support staff, lab, pharmacy, and administration. Excellent communication skills are required to interact with patients, staff, and health care providers. Light administrative responsibility
